The 1st Baby Daddy Bus Riders...

September 24th, 2008- Nassau Coliseum
Jess and I decided to get to the Coliseum around 9 am...yes 9am. Now it doesn't seem that early, but this was about the 4th concert they did and 9am was UNHEARD OF! We just chilled where the buses were coming in with all our signs (we had 12 total).  Our pal the security lady, Anne, told us they weren't going to be there till 3.  Did we care? Not one bit! At about 1pm other people start showing up.  By 3, the security guard started to put up blockades (for all of 12 people...ridiculous). Jess and I didn't want to be surrounded by people so we made ourselves visable, but obviously people followed.

Around 3:45, Jon and Jordan show up in a black car, Jon got out and it was really quick. Then what I assume was Joe's bus came rolling in.  Then at 4pm on the dot the BABY BABY BABY BUS rolls in!!! So we run to the curb and I am standing there with my FACE TIME sign and my friend had a "We have been here since 9AM!!!" First Johnny just points from the bus at my sign.  I pay no mind to it, then Robo starts yelling for me to come onto the bus.  Not Jess, just me.  I am bugging out.  I didn't want to leave her, but she pushed me forward and made me go.  It's scary to go by yourself!  You may laugh...but try it!  The first thing I do when I get on the bus? Donnie is coming towards me with open arms and my eyes start tearing and I say "my friend...she has been here with me since 9am, it is both our sign she has to come too! Pleaseee Donnie!" He then says "Baby don't cry OF COURSE, get her on the bus!!!" At that point Robo and I are screaming out the door to get on the bus.  Finally, we were both on.

What I first saw when I turned back around was Donnie and he gave me the biggest hug I have ever received in my LIFE! Then Danny was just chilling, watching some youtube videos and cracking up (yess THE laugh, the best laugh you will ever hear!). We just hang out and it was awkward at first.  They tell us we are the first people, besides the crew, to be on the bus. You could imagine we were pretty much dead at this point, but keeping it cool. Donnie had a phone call to take and then Danny's phone rang, so Jess and I were taking pictures for proof!
Take  1 of me and the Berg...he wanted to take a better one.
This was his idea of a better one...
Danny and myself
Then I turn to her and whisper, "I want to make a blog!" Donnie, being the nosy ass he is, comes right up in my face (kissing distance! No joke I could have planted one on him) and asks, "what you whispering baby?" (Jess says she was dying, because you could see his breath moving my hair) and I just say, "well I was thinking we make a blog" his response was "a video blog?" in an excited voice.  I say "wellll yea!" and all hell broke loose. He thought that was the best idea ever! We made a vlog, on our cameras, but who cares!!! We showed them our signs...all 12 of them and they loved all of them.  We had them rolling...they were good!
Donnie had to do sound check, so we thought our time with them was done...oh no no. Donnie personally put passes to the after show on our legs and invited us to a private sound check. I told him I didn't see the show yet, so when he was about to sing "Single" for us he goes, "I don't want you peeking at the screen!" I could have orgasmed right there, I won't Donnie...I won't.  He does his thang, talked on the phone for a while, and introduced us to Colby O'Donis AS HIS FRIENDS!!! After that more people came in for the regular sound check. Donnie did "Cover Girl" where he brought a little boy on stage and let him hold his guitar that doesn't look like it works. Jess and I dubbed it his Guitar Hero. After that he came to greet everyone, but since we were pals already, Jess and I let other people have their time. That is when sex itself walked into the room...Jordan. No one else saw him until the strands of "If You Go Away" started to play and still no one paid attention, because they were too focused on Donnie. Whatta shame. We were just standing there staring at Jordan (I may or may not have had my mouth hanging open at this point) when he looks at us singing the other guys' parts back to him. He laughed and kept singing, I thought I was going to pee myself.

He later came down to take pictures and I waited ever so patiently for everyone to get theirs and was the last one.  He was sweet.
Jordan and I...he was PALE!
After sound check, Zach was escorting all the other people out when we saw Donnie and thought we should say thank you for all he did for us. He gave us the biggest hug and he said how much he appreciated us waiting that long just to see him and the guys. I died for about the 40th time. He yells to Zach that he wanted us to just stay in our seats till show time and for him to get that approved. He told us if anyone messed with us, tell them to "look for Donnie."

By this point we are just sitting in our seats freaking out, when Joe just goes strolling by.  I was shocked.  I kinda yelled out "Joey Jooooe!!!" (I NEVER call him that) and he turned and said "Heyyyyyy....damn you guys got here early." (Jess and I later joke that we are like the 2 old men on 'The Muppet Show' because we were just sitting around in the bleachers.)  We were in section 101 which was the last section on the left hand side of the stage, so we walked down to chit chat. I asked for a picture, we took it then he asked how we were in there so early. We told him we were riding the baby baby babay bus and he started to crack up and say "Damn that never happens! Congrats!" He said he would look for us during the show (which he did find me and I made him laugh...be still my heart) and gave us hugs and went his merry way.
Oh hey Joe...I can see through your shirt!!!
At this point in time...this was the highlight of my life.  Little did I know all the other memories that would be created with these 5 men and later...1 million sisters.

Even though I was with Jess for Bus Time, we didn't sit together. We met each other too late.  None of my friends wanted to go, so my friend's stepmom decided to take my extra ticket.  She thought she was there to see Danity Kane...O_O!!! Moving on...

You all know that feeling.  That feeling coming from the pit of your stomach when you first heard the soft melodies and saw the opening video for the first time.  This was my first New Kids concert ever.  I've loved them all my life.  Literally...I was 21...I loved them for 20 year.  ALL.MY.LIFE! This moment was epic.  I began to cry. Just stood there crying. My friend's stepmom turned to me and asked, "why?"  I just said, "I'm just so happy."  Then Joe started singing and I lost my damn mind.

The rest of the concert was amazingggg, I think I lost 5 pounds from dancing. Danny saw my "Got her mind right" sign and he motioned and said "You got your mind right?"...well I DID when I made the sign! Then they did the crowd gets their facetime thing. My poster and I were all over that shit. I went banana sandwich when I saw Jon turn that camera in my direction. I really don't have a lot to say about the concert except that it was amazing. Donnie said it was like "a Celtics game...you're pumped in the beginning, then it slows down and it is the (he whispered and stressed) pee break then you get hyped for the 3rd quarter." Well you go ahead throwing the Celtics in there.

We went to the after show meet and greet, but only Danny and Donnie were there, so we felt awkward meeting them again, so we bolted.  Robo saw us at one point and asked, "haven't you had enough?"  Ohhhh just wait my man.

We headed back to where the buses would come out.  When the baby bus came out only Danny was on it, so we though Donnie was in the back. Nopeee this motha fucka just starts walking out of the underground! Now all the girls rush to him, so I just walk to the bus door and wait. I saw Zach so I chit chatted with him. I made him a sign and he loooved it so we took a picture of it on his phone...creep. He was really nice though and was happy I wasn't hounding him for things (his words, not mine) and so I told him don't worry about it, but remember my face for MSG and Atlantic City! He laughed and went on the bus. There was just a lot of chaos, so I hung back with my sign and waited. Donnie sees me and my damn FACE TIME sign, reaches out for my hand, we hold on over the crowd and I mouthed "THANK YOU!" and he said, "no problem baby!" I got about 30 "baby"s and every time I wanted to cream my pants. He was forced to get on the bus, but then starts leaning out of the window and signing things, so Jess and I went closer to the exit the bus was leaving. He was sitting in the front seat and so when he pulled out it was just us with, again, the signs (or what we now refer to as the bus pass). He was blowing us kisses and doing all these moves, so we blew some back and he started laughing.  Then he rode off into the night.
